Here’s the awesome djurpark in Göteborg’s Slottsskogen, where I got to rub shoulders with a certain very cool mountain sheep. It seems like every city park in Sweden has its own spacious djurpark — a sort of petting zoo featuring domestic and “heirloom-domestic” species (as opposed to exotic species) in an environment that approximates a cozy Dolittle ranch on the Scandinavian frontier… well, that’s my American interpretation. Slottskogen’s djurpark is especially nice.
